About Pastor Tommy Barnett

Pastor Tommy Barnett

Pastor Tommy Barnett is the Global Pastor of one of the largest Assemblies of God churches in the U.S., Dream City Church in Phoenix, Arizona. The church has become known as “The Church with a Heart” because of its extensive ministry outreaches, and each year, thousands give their lives to Jesus Christ, and hundreds are baptized.

Pastor Barnett is the Chancellor of Southeastern University, which named its ministry school the Barnett College of Ministry and Theology.

In 1994, Pastor Barnett and his son Matthew also co-founded The Dream Center in Los Angeles, an inner-city church and outreach center that touches the lives of 50,000 people each month.

Tommy Barnett continues to serve as the Co-Pastor of The Dream Center. Under his leadership, Dream City Church birthed the Phoenix Dream Center, which is now widely recognized not only for reaching the needy in the greater Phoenix area, but also for being a leader in helping to deliver those trapped in human trafficking.

Pastor Barnett is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Joyce Meyer Ministries and several other prominent international ministries. He is the author of many books, including Multiplication, Hidden Power, Enlarge Your Circle of Love, Reaching Your Dreams, The Power of a Half Hour, Your Great Adventure, and now the newly released book: “What If?”

Pastor Barnett has authored more than 50 church growth programs, including The Saturday Soulwinning Society, which has been used all over the world by thousands of churches and leaders to teach their people how to win souls to Christ.
